51³Ô¹Ï Me
As an associate professor of nursing and program coordinator for the MSN-to-DNP Nursing Organizational Leadership program at the University of Mary, I am passionate about preparing nurse leaders to navigate the complexities of today's health care environment. My teaching focuses on leadership development, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and helping students translate knowledge into meaningful organizational change.
With more than 20 years of nursing experience, I bring both clinical expertise and practical leadership insight to the classroom. I enjoy mentoring graduate students as they develop the confidence and skills to improve healthcare systems and patient outcomes.
Outside of the university, I am actively involved in my faith community at St. George's Episcopal Church, where I have served as senior warden and eucharistic minister. My faith and commitment to service continue to shape my approach to leadership, education, and professional practice.
Why I’m At MaryThe University of Mary has helped me to grow as a nurse educator by providing me opportunities to learn and grow with my students. Bringing out the best in me has taught me to bring out the best in my students.
