51³Ô¹Ï Me

I began my nursing career at St. Alexius in the ICU. The ICU promoted critical thinking, independent decision-making, and collaboration with other health care providers, which led me to further my education and pursue a career as a nurse practitioner. Since obtaining my NP licensure, I have worked in acute neurology. I have become invested in stroke care and ended up teaching Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) classes at St. Alexius. Teaching ASLS fostered my other passion, education.

Why I’m At Mary

Fortunately, I earned my DNP through the University of Mary and have been able to utilize both knowledge and skills learned from the exceptional DNP program. I am at the University of Mary because I want to be a part of a wonderful faculty that taught me throughout my graduate education.
